Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a high-performing team in a busy retail pharmacy environment in Ohio. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, immunizations, medication management, and clinical services while ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

The candidate will oversee workflow, inventory, staff performance, and quality assurance to enhance patient outcomes and pharmacy financials.

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree required.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy considerations.
Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications accurately and in accordance with regulations.
Maintains pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.
