Job summary

Mercor is seeking a clinical pharmacologist to contribute to multiple workflows on a US-based project. You will model PK/PD datasets, dosing regimens, and exposure–response analyses to ensure clinically plausible data and reconcile with efficacy and safety outputs.

You will author dose rationale, concentration and response sections, and design prompts, rubrics, and SAP-based outputs to assess AI-generated pharmacology tasks.

Qualifications

• Location: US, Canada, or France.
• YOE: 5+ required. 10-25 preferred.
• Education: PharmD, PhD in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics or a related field, MD, or equivalent.
• Hourly availability: 20-25 hours/week, minimum. 30+ preferred.
• Experience: MUST have supported pre-market (Phases 1-3) programs as a clinical pharmacologist, with hands-on PK/PD work, dose selection and escalation, and exposure-response analysis. First-in-human experience strongly preferred. Comfortable working from a protocol and SAP to produce pharmacology data that holds up under expert scrutiny.

Responsibilities

• Own a part in multiple workflows: Clinical Data Generation with PK/PD datasets, dosing regimens, exposure data and reports; ensure data plausibility and reconciliation with efficacy and safety outputs.
• Clinical pharmacology task authorship: author dose rationale, concentration and response sections, and drug–drug and drug–disease interaction content; design prompts, golden outputs, and rubrics for AI evaluation.
