Job summary

Meijer, a family-owned retailer and pharmacy provider, seeks a pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately and maintain excellent patient relationships. You will supervise pharmacy operations when the pharmacist in charge is away and deliver clinical services such as immunizations.

The role emphasizes education of technicians and adherence to Meijer policies and state/federal laws. Qualified candidates must be licensed in the practice state and hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with immunization

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must be registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
