Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check all medications leaving the department for quality assurance.
• Enter orders accurately into the computer and ensure current medication administration reports.
• Verify appropriate dosages on physician orders for patient safety.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding orders, drug interactions, and dosing questions.
• Dispense medications according to policy and supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Monitor adverse drug reactions and ensure proper storage and dispensing guidelines.
