You will fill prescriptions, review prescriptions filled by technicians, provide drug information, counsel patients, and help maintain invoices, inventories, and billing requirements for various payors. This role emphasizes compliance, accuracy, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Pharm.D. degree or equivalent; retail/hospital outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical knowledge for drug interactions and dosing.
• Ability to review prescriptions and oversee technician work and billing.
• Proficient with standard office software (Word/Excel) and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and review pharmacist-checked prescriptions.
• Provide drug information and patient counseling as required by law.
• Maintain medication invoices and controlled substance invoices.
• Perform inventories and ensure proper storage and temperature logs.
• Interpret orders, review patient profiles for interactions and allergies.
• Oversee medication distribution to remote clinic locations.
• Ensure quality customer service and compliance with billing requirements.
