Job summary

CCS Medical, Inc. in Clearwater, FL is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to perform general pharmacist duties, including dispensing medications, data-entry review, and patient drug therapy monitoring.

You will report to the Director of Pharmacy and participate in performance improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy and an active Florida license, with strong counseling and regulatory compliance skills.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD).
• Current Florida pharmacist license; multi-state licensure preferred (CA, VA).
• Ability to review prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and safety; familiarity with drug utilization reviews.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee dispensing of prescription medications.
• Evaluate prescription orders for appropriateness and safety.
• Provide patient counseling and monitoring of drug therapies.
• Maintain patient charts with allergies and med histories.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and accreditation standards.
• Train and supervise pharmacy staff and technicians.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
