Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and evaluates literature to design therapy regimens
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy and safety
• Designs and monitors patient-specific regimens
• Reviews medication orders and supports medication safety and quality
• Collaborates to manage formulary adherence and medication-use processes
• Prepares, dispenses and stores medications per regulations
• Acts as a preceptor for students and trainees
• Directs and checks pharmacy staff work for safe workflows
