Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute in Georgia on a PRN basis with some on-call responsibilities.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage drug therapy protocols, review orders, provide drug information, educate staff and patients, and document interventions for quality improvement. A Georgia pharmacy license and hospital pharmacy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manages drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify and resolve drug-related problems.
• Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmacy students.
• Documents interventions and outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement.
• Evaluates medication orders for accuracy before entry and after filling by technicians.

Pharmacy License (Georgia)

Pharm.D. preferred
