Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Registered Georgia Pharmacy license required.
• Pharm. D. from accredited college of pharmacy.
• Ability to work effectively with pharmacists, technicians and healthcare professionals.
• Good clinical assessment and judgment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medications accurately to enhance patient health.
• Perform analysis to ensure correct medication order entry and dosing.
• Communicate with providers about orders or non-formulary requests.
• Follow USP 795/797/800 best practices in sterile/non-sterile prep.
• Participate in Clinical Pharmacy Service to deliver quality care.
• Provide drug information after evidence review to health care teams.
• Educate patients and families about medications and outcomes.
• Supervise technicians and train staff; report issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with formulary, policies, and controlled substances handling.
