Qualifications

• BLS certification within 90 days; ACLS within 6 months if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as a clinical pharmacist generalist in one or more patient care areas.
• Participates in departmental or institutional quality, safety, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Reviews and processes orders, documenting clinical interventions and ensuring appropriate therapy.
• Engages in patient education about medications, adverse effects, and transitions of care.
• Precepts students and residents as available; may participate in research opportunities.
• Oversees work of pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
