Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited school required.
• PharmD is acceptable or higher professional degree.
• Active pharmacist license or eligibility within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medications is required.
• Ability to perform mathematical computations for dispensing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily pharmacy functions and supervise technician workflow.
• Review and verify provider medication orders with clinical interventions as needed.
• Provide drug information and education to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Educate and train pharmacy staff and serve as preceptors for students.
