Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to lead clinical care at the store level, delivering safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while supporting the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations.

You will coach the pharmacy team, uphold regulatory compliance, manage inventory (including cold chain), and contribute to positive patient experiences through compassionate care and collaboration with the health team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of the store
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Manage dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
• Oversee pharmacy as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts.
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment and follow workflow procedures.
• Provide empathetic patient care and resolve insurance/medication issues.
• Deliver immunizations and coach Pharmacy Technicians.
• Maintain inventory with focus on cold chain protections.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Assist with scheduling and staff training as directed by Manager.
