Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, optimize therapy, and promote health and wellness across all patient ages. The position involves reviewing orders, conducting medication use evaluations, and leading process improvements within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy is required or
Doctorate PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Review, interpret and verify provider medication orders with clinical interventions as needed.
Provide drug information and education to patients and healthcare professionals.
Direct pharmacy technician workflow and verify final products prior to dispensing.
Manage medication use including compounding, preparation, storage and stocking across the organization.
Educate and train pharmacy staff and serve as preceptors for students and residents.
Lead medication use evaluations and participate in quality improvement.
Address provider consults and ensure safe, cost-effective therapy.
