Job summary

UofL Health, Inc. seeks a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and to support medication therapy management across patient care teams at the South Hospital – UMC in Shepherdsville, KY.

The role requires evaluation and verification of medication orders, drug distribution support, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes. Neonatal to geriatric coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy (required).
• Licensed or license eligible as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (required).
• Current Board Certification by BPS preferred; CPR/ACLS certifications as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication order evaluation and verification; provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
• Supervise drug distribution, sterile and extemporaneous compounding; supervise technicians.
• Participate in formulary management, clinical interventions, and pharmacokinetic consultations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy colleagues to optimize therapy.
