UofL Health in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy outcomes.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, dosing, safety monitoring, and participating in formulary management, staff mentorship, and clinical interventions to improve patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy (required).
• Licensed or license eligible as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (required).
• Current Board Certification by Board of Pharmacy Specialties preferred.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support or must obtain within 90 days from date of hire; ACLS as determined by pharmacy leadership (required).

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients and healthcare team.
• Evaluate and verify medication orders for accuracy and efficacy.
• Supervise technicians and participate in drug therapy management.
• Participate in formulary management and cost containment.
• Contribute to patient safety through adverse drug event monitoring.
• Educate patients and staff, respond to drug information requests.
