Job summary

PharMerica in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist for a 7 on/7 off schedule (6:30pm–6:30am) in a non-retail, closed-door setting serving long-term care and senior living clients. Expect clinical duties, collaboration with healthcare teams, and ongoing training.

Qualifications include a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with NM licensure, and prefer 1 year in long-term care. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of practice (New Mexico).
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS/DEA/FDA regulations and drug therapy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for drug appropriateness and dosage.
• Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and staff.
• Maintain up-to-date patient profiles and medication records.
• Ensure monitoring tests for high-risk meds are ordered and reviewed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals.
• Document interventions in the medical record and communicate with families.
