PharMerica in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join our closed-door, non-retail team serving long-term care and senior living clients. The role covers order evaluation, clinical recommendations, patient record maintenance, and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• One year experience in long-term care ideal.
• Licensed pharmacist in state of practice; CMS/DEA/FDA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for safety and appropriateness.
• Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and staff.
• Maintain patient profiles with meds, labs, history.
• Ensure monitoring tests are ordered and reviewed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team on therapy changes.
• Document interventions in medical records.
• Ensure safe handling and dispensing of medications.
