PharMerica is hiring a full-time Pharmacist in Taunton, MA for a non-retail, long-term care setting. You will evaluate orders, provide clinical recommendations, and maintain patient profiles. Rotating shifts include M-F and weekends; a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required or Pharm D preferred.
• One year experience in long term care desired.
• Current and valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for drug appropriateness, correct dosage, potential interactions and route of administration.
• Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and healthcare staff on med therapy changes.
• Maintain up-to-date patient/resident profiles, including medical history, labs and current medications.
• Ensure lab tests for monitoring high‑risk meds are ordered, reviewed and communicated to the team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide clinical support.
