Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Skokie Hospital team on a per diem basis. Rotating shifts from 5 am to 12 am, including weekends and holidays, demand strong prioritization and teamwork. Illinois licensure is required, PharmD preferred, with hospital experience valued.

The role includes dispensing medications, providing drug information, and ensuring accuracy by checking technicians' work in accordance with regulatory standards.

Hourly Pay Range: $59.50 - $92.23 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

What you will need

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
• Education: PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
• Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment

What you will do

• Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
• Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
