Endeavor Health in Glenview is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient for a part-time position at Glenbrook Hospital. Rotating day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays; license to practice in Illinois is required.

PharmD preferred with residency or equivalent experience; at least one year as a licensed pharmacist or hospital experience expected. The role includes dispensing medications, providing clinical services, and ensuring compliance with regulations while collaborating with a hospital

$59.50 - $92.23 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital
• Part-time (40 hours per 2 week pay period)
• Hours: Rotating day and evening shifts; rotating weekends and holidays required

What You Will Need

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
• Education: PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
• Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment

What You Will Do

• Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
• Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
