Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a Pharmacist II to provide clinical pharmaceutical care in collaboration with physicians and staff. The role emphasizes accurate dispensing, patient counseling, drug information, and therapy optimization to ensure safe medication use.

Under limited supervision, the Pharmacist II will review patient profiles, communicate with healthcare providers, and maintain medication lists while adhering to regulatory and billing standards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient counseling and drug information.
• Review patient profiles, labs, dosing, and therapy to ensure safe, effective use of medications.
• Maintain accurate medication lists for all patients.
• Consult with providers on therapy recommendations and educate patients on proper medication use.
• Dispense, compound, and verify medications; prepare IV/topical/oral formulations accurately.
• Ensure compliance with billing practices, formulary rules, and safety standards.
