The position requires a Doctorate in Pharmacy (or equivalent) with Alaska licensure, and involves dispensing, compounding, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy required or equivalent licensure.
• Experience with clinical pharmaceutical care and collaboration with healthcare teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drug therapy and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient counseling and drug information.
• Review patient profiles, labs, dosing intervals, and therapy combinations for safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate medication lists for all patients.
• Consult with healthcare providers on therapy recommendations and educate patients on medication use and potential side effects.
• Conduct dispensing, compounding, order entry, and verification of pharmaceutical activities; prepare IV, topical, and oral medications.
• Document patient and procedural information and ensure compliance with billing practices and policies.
• Participate on committees and support regulatory and practice standards.
