Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a Pharmacist II to deliver clinical pharmaceutical care in collaboration with physicians and staff. You will counsel patients, review therapy, and ensure accurate medication management across services.

Responsibilities include dispensing, compounding, order entry, and provider education, with opportunities for committee involvement and leadership within the department.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy or BS for those licensed under BS rule.
• Alaska Pharmacy License or legal equivalent is required.
• ACLS is required for Inpatient Pharmacists or obtainable within 4 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient counseling and drug information.
• Review patient profiles, labs, dosing, and therapy combinations for safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate medication lists for all patients.
• Consult with providers on therapy recommendations and educate patients on medications.
• Dispense, compound, enter orders, and verify pharmaceutical activities including IV/topical/oral forms.
