• Assesses feasibility of compounding; prepares IV admixtures and sterile products.
• Responds to drug information requests; counsels patients on medications.
• Monitors drug therapy; ensures safety and minimizes adverse reactions.
• Oversees technicians; maintains controlled substances inventory and compliance.
• Participates in quality improvement and education programs.
