MedStar Health in Edgewood, MD is seeking a clinical pharmacist to provide direct patient care under supervision. You will interpret orders, dispense medications, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

The role includes preparing IV admixtures, monitoring therapy, managing controlled substances, and educating patients. A PharmD and MD licensure are required with 1–2 years hospital experience; PGY-1 preferred.

Competenze

• PharmD from an accredited college of Pharmacy required, or an equivalent degree.
• 1–2 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting.
• PGY-1 preferred.
• RPH licensure in the state of practice required; board certification preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills preferred.

• Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and dispenses medications.
• Prepares IV admixtures and sterile products.
• Monitors and optimizes drug therapy and manages interactions.
