Job summary

• Requires Bachelor’s or PharmD from ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC.

• Credentialing and privileging required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on therapy, adverse effects, and dosing.
• Reviews medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy.
• Participates in medical emergencies when applicable.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Manages formulary adherence and medication-use processes.
• Prepares, dispenses, and handles medications per regulations.
• Serves as a preceptor and mentors pharmacy teammates and students.
• Ensures age-appropriate care and compliance with policies.
