Job summary

Ardent Health in Tyler, TX is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for an evening shift. The role involves optimizing patient care, overseeing the IV admixture program, and providing drug information, under the direction of Pharmacy leadership.

Eligible candidates hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited programs, maintain an active state license, and obtain BLS within 14 days. ACLS is required for Code Blue participation.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification required for attending Code Blue.
• Completion of the TSBP educational requirements in the field of compounding sterile preparations OR must be capable of completing requirements within 90 days of hire date.

Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
