RareMed Solutions is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to ensure optimal patient outcomes through clinical review and coordination with healthcare teams. You will supervise staff, oversee daily operations, and contribute to patient care across the dispensing process.

The role requires PA licensure, pharmacy experience, and strong communication skills, with a hybrid work structure and periodic on-site duties near Pittsburgh, PA.

Formación

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist license from an ACPE accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure for Pennsylvania.
• 1 year of non-commercial, specialty, or retail pharmacy experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• 2+ years as a practicing, licensed pharmacist in a non-commercial or specialty setting (preferred).
• Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) certification, REMS experience, CPR+ dispensing software experience (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Verifies prescription drug orders for completeness and clinical appropriateness.
• Communicates with medical providers to clarify orders and coordinate care.
• Communicates with patients regarding prescribed therapies to promote outcomes.
• Verifies prescription orders during fulfillment process.
• Participates in after-hours and on-call emergency prescription order fulfillment.
• Monitors inventories and supplies per policies and procedures.
• Identifies and implements quality improvement opportunities in pharmacy services.
• Assists in daily data quality control activities.
• Assists in running pharmacy daily huddles when required.
• Supervises pharmacy staff and ensures operations when on site.
• Maintains respectful, collaborative team relationships; promotes positivity.
• Facilitates cold chain workflows per policies and procedures.
• Acquire pharmacist licensure across multiple states.
