Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong command of English; bilingual Spanish preferred for phone counseling.
• Ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for safety and dosing.
• Validate data entry by technicians and ensure transcription accuracy.
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a closed-door setting.
• Conduct daily prospective DUR and manage specialty medication handling.
• Provide proactive phone-based patient counseling and prescriber collaboration.
