• Assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication use based on patient condition and age-specific criteria
• Ensure accurate medication preparation and dispensing
• Supervise and direct supportive personnel, including technicians, interns, and volunteers
• Serve as a medication therapy resource, offering drug information, staff training, and transitions of care
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, promoting optimal patient outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety within medication use processes
