Responsibilities

• Recommend formulary alternatives and advise healthcare professionals on drug therapy issues.
• Monitor laboratory results, provide drug information, and conduct discharge medication consultations.
• Participate in patient rounds, calculate dosages, and verify prescriptions.
• Prepare compounded and sterile medications using aseptic techniques.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, technicians, and interns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to resolve pharmacy-related issues and optimize patient care.
• Assist in updating departmental policies and coordinate resource management.
