Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System, an Oklahoma Corporation, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a day shift in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on optimizing patient care through dispensing, IV admixture, and drug information, under supervision of the Pharmacy leadership.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school with an active Oklahoma pharmacist license; BLS and ACLS are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification is required (ACLS for attending Code Blue).

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
