Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital team. The role focuses on optimizing patient care through safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical services, including dispensing and IV admixture, under the direction of Pharmacy leadership.

We value a strong clinical background, Oklahoma licensure, BLS, and ACLS. Prefer candidates with inpatient hospital experience and ACPE-accredited education.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification (ACLS required for attending Code Blue).

Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities:

The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
