Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a PRN Pharmacist in Tulsa, OK to join Hillcrest Medical Center. The clinical pharmacist will optimize patient care through safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical services, including drug dispensing and IV admixture, under the direction of Pharmacy leadership.

Requirements include a B.S. or Pharm D. from ACPE-accredited school, Oklahoma pharmacist license, and BLS; ACLS is required for Code Blue. Preferred: 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program.
• Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license in good standing.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required for Code Blue.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

Job Requirements

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification (ACLS required for attending Code Blue).
