Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team. This role provides clinical pharmacy services and patient education, ensuring optimal medication therapy across the hospital.

The position requires an ACPE-accredited degree, completion of a pharmacy practice residency or 2 years of clinical experience, and Georgia licensure (PHARMD) upon hire. Full-time, Monday–Friday with weekend and holiday requirements.

Qualifications

Required Hours: Full time Monday-Friday schedule. 7am-3:30pm and one weekend every 4 weeks and two holiday requirements (one major and one minor)

Responsibilities

Provides clinical pharmacy services and education. Supervises and monitors all activities of the Pharmacy Residents and Doctor of Pharmacy Students. Performs all duties of a registered Pharmacist, including Patient Focused Care activities throughout the hospital to provide patients with optimal medication therapy.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy or higher in Pharmacy Required

Work Experience

• Completion of a pharmacy practice residency or
• 2 years of clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
