Job summary

SCP Health is seeking a Nurse Leader/Quality Improvement professional to advance clinical performance across hospital settings in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on coordinating physician engagement, staff development, and data-driven quality improvements, in collaboration with the Medical Director and Field Operations teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding, maintaining clinical workflows, and leading KPI-driven initiatives to enhance patient care and hospital relations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines of business and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Intermediate knowledge of healthcare informatics, including clinical quality measures.
• Working knowledge of staff development and the educational process, quality improvement, continuous process/performance improvement methodology.

Responsibilities

• Represent SCP Health and the Hospital to retain referrals and grow volumes by enhancing satisfaction and quality.
• Coordinate training and orientation for new staff and providers.
• Coordinate with Staffing Operations for physician interviews and facility tours.
• Promote communication within the hospitalist team and with hospital staff, patients, and SCP Health.
• Serve as liaison for the program with Medical Director.
• Maintain relationships with key personnel to achieve program goals.
• Monitor onsite performance and share improvement strategies with leadership.
• Oversee daily practice operations and physician engagement initiatives.
• Lead daily workflows for clinical performance initiatives and provider education.
