Job summary

SCP Health in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking a RN with 5+ years of acute care experience to lead quality improvement and clinical performance initiatives across hospitalist programs. You will coordinate staff orientation, participate in physician interviews, and collaborate with field operations to drive KPI improvements and overall patient and provider satisfaction.

Qualifications

• RN with 5+ years of clinical experience in acute care.
• 3+ years in clinical quality assurance, data analytics, and reporting in managed care.
• Direct patient care experience; ICU/ED experience preferred.
• Experience with hospital-based quality measures, strategies and reporting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines and applicable regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Represent SCP Health and hospital to retain referrals and grow volumes; enhance satisfaction and outcomes.
• Coordinate staff training and orientation packets for new office staff and providers.
• Participate in physician interviews and coordinate with Staffing Operations for appearances with medical directors.
• Promote communication within the hospitalist team and with hospital staff, patients, and SCP Health teams.
• Serve as liaison for Medical Director and SCP Health program.
• Monitor performance and share improvement strategies with VP of Clinical Performance Improvement and Field Operations.
• Oversee daily practice operations and support physician engagement and facility initiatives.
• Lead workflows to drive clinical performance initiatives (throughput, LOS, MDR attendance, rounding, education, data analysis).
• Recommend improvements to KPI achievements and client/provider satisfaction as per SCP Health and clients.
• In collaboration with Field Operations and Medical Director, facilitate HM Committee meetings with hospital admin and SCP Health reps.
• Engage with Medical Director to enable participation, recruitment and retention of providers.
• Ensure completion of all site-specific requirements and participation in required corporate activities.
