Job summary

Powers-Health in Munster, IN seeks a PI Coordinator under the Director of Quality/Risk Management to support performance improvement across patient care.

Responsibilities include monitoring, analysis, and data presentation to medical staff; participating in the Performance Improvement Program; and conducting improvement studies.

Ideal candidates have nursing or RHIT/RHIA background, 1–2 years RN/RHIT/RHIA experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Midas.

Qualifications

• Two years of training from an accredited college, preferably RN, RHIT or RHIA.
• Minimum 1–2 years as RN, RHIT or RHIA.
• Analytical ability for policy development and data review.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Midas; data retrieval and reporting.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design, monitoring, analysis and improvement of patient care and organizational functions.
• Participate in development and implementation of the Hospital’s Performance Improvement Program.
• Identify the need for and conduct performance improvement studies.
• Prepare and present data and reports to medical staff clinical departments and services.
