Penn Medicine's Penn Cardiology in Bensalem, PA seeks a Client Services Associate to enhance the patient experience by blending clinical support with front-office administration. You will work closely with physicians, providers, and practice staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role includes clinical tasks, patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, insurance coordination, and EMR documentation in Epic, with opportunities for credentialing and growth within the Penn

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18+ months of Medical Assistant experience or 1+ year as a Penn Medicine Clinical Support Representative may be considered in lieu of program completion.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CMA or RMA certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to successfully complete required Epic training and certification.

Responsabilités

• Room patients, collect vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare charts in the EMR.
• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures.
• Observe patient conditions and promptly communicate concerns to providers.
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as permitted by certification and regulations.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient communications, and coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services.
• Obtain insurance information, referrals, authorizations, and required documentation.
• Perform patient check-in/check-out activities, collect copays, and maintain accurate records in the EMR.
• Support medical forms, patient correspondence, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and a positive patient experience.
