Job summary

Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Pathology Technician to join our Kansas site. You will become proficient in onboarding, sample labeling, processing, and data entry while working in a team‑oriented lab environment. The role requires attention to safety, ability to handle heavy objects occasionally, and flexibility to work 8:00 a.m.

- 6:30 p.m. four days per week; the pay rate is $20/hour and benefits are provided. Experience in a lab setting preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform labeling, processing and verification of samples.
• Operate basic lab equipment and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with data entry and study documentation.
• Support training for junior staff as needed.
