Job summary

Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in College Station seeks a Clinical Pathologist I to perform diagnostic testing in clinical pathology, including cytology and serum protein electrophoresis, and to interpret results for a broad client base.

The role requires a DVM (AVMA) with residency or ACVP/ECVP eligibility, plus experience in clinical pathology; responsibilities include client consultation, data entry in LIMS, and mentorship of staff.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent AVMA-approved degree.
• Completion of clinical pathology residency or eligibility for ACVP/ECVP board.
• Two years of related experience in clinical pathology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing in clinical pathology, including cytology and serum protein electrophoresis.
• Interpret test results and provide written reports.
• Consult with TVMDL clients and coordinate with staff on complex cases.
• Enter pathology reports into LIMS and ensure data accuracy.
• Train and mentor pathology staff as needed.
