SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis seeks a Nursing Assistant to support a variety of patient care services. You will receive assignments from the RN, perform delegated nursing tasks, and help with patient comfort and daily activities during 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receives patient care assignment from the registered nurse (RN) in charge and initiates delegated tasks.
• Collects and documents data for admission assessments and reassessments and communicates with the licensed nurse.
• Relays information via charting and communicates to team members; informs licensed nurse of changes in patient condition.
• Assists with baths, mobility, feeding, hygiene, bed care, dressing changes and specimen collection.
• Performs clerical duties such as answering phones and organizing the patient’s medical record.
