Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Clinical Optimization Process Owner to lead optimization governance across Information Solutions. You will define CSFs and KPIs, oversee processes, report performance to IS Senior Leaders, and drive value for the MUSC Enterprise.

Collaborating with operational executives, you will manage roadmaps, risk, quality assurance, and SOPs to sustain optimized clinical systems and improve clinician satisfaction and efficiency across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinically focused field (nursing, respiratory therapy, dietary, etc.) or related field, or 7+ years working with clinical health information systems.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; client relations and relationship building, fact finding, analytical, presentation, and communication skills required.
• Experience with process improvement and agile methodologies; project management experience in IT/healthcare preferred.
• ITIL Foundations certification or higher must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Experience documenting processes and ability to create, implement, and evaluate KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization governance in partnership with operational executives to support decision-making and reporting.
• Define CSFs and KPIs for owned processes and report metrics to IS Senior Leaders.
