Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Maryland or eligibility under compact state agreements.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Advanced certification within 3 years (e.g., NE-BC, CEN, PCCN); Behavioral Health Certification preferred.
• ACLS/BLS or equivalent certifications as per patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a frontline operational leader with direct accountability for shift-level operations and team performance.
• Partner with the Nurse Manager to ensure operational excellence, staff engagement, and patient outcomes.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Foster safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement; develop staff and manage onboarding and performance.
• Prepare for future leadership opportunities through succession planning and multidisciplinary initiatives.
