Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Manager of Clinical Operations to oversee daily operations of the Clinical Operations Department. This role partners with the Director to drive department growth, patient satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility while ensuring safe, high-quality care.

The manager will supervise staff, guide performance evaluations, and support competency development. Responsibilities include scheduling, patient flow coordination, and adherence to regulatory and quality

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Experience coordinating clinical operations and staffing.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Clinical Operations.
• Schedule staffing and patient rounding to ensure satisfaction.
• Interview and hire personnel; evaluate performance and provide coaching.
• Manage patient flow and bed coordination with offsite teams.
• Assist with unit budgeting and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and core measures.
• Monitor supply management and participate in quality audits.
