Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Chicago seeks an experienced RN leader to manage staffing, throughput, and patient care quality on a busy unit. This role partners with the Patient Command Center, unit charge nurses, and regulatory bodies to ensure safe, efficient operations and high standards of service.

You will oversee labor utilization, participate in safety and capacity huddles, implement quality improvement initiatives, and mentor staff while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN and inpatient/acute care experience.
• BSN is required; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with Patient Command Center to coordinate staffing.
• Leads daily safety and capacity huddles.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and HIPAA standards.
• Mentors staff and develops leaders.
• Addresses patient, family and staff concerns promptly.
