Job summary

Eye Health Vision Centers, LLC seeks a Clinical Manager for our Taunton, MA location. You will lead daily operations, oversee patient care flow, and supervise front desk and technical staff under the Associate Practice Director.

This is a working manager position with hands-on patient interaction as an Ophthalmic Technician and Patient Service support as needed. The role emphasizes improving workflows, coaching staff, and maintaining quality patient care, with open availability for early

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years ophthalmology experience.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Strong organization and leadership/communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint; detail-oriented.
• Able to work under pressure independently and in a team.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Advanced computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, train, and supervise front desk and technical staff to ensure policy compliance and patient privacy; coordinate procedures.
• Assist in directing physician and patient activities; liaise between front/back office for efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement; research, plan, and implement action plans.
• Establish and oversee orientation, training, and career development for new hires.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance of the office operations.
• Manage staff scheduling, time, attendance, overtime, and time-off requests.
• Foster a healthy, inclusive work environment with coaching and teamwork.
• Coach team members; support career development.
• Evaluate performance and conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Adjust training, processes, or staffing for smooth workflow.
• Manage inventory of medical and office supplies; run reports and KPIs.
