Responsibilities

• Evaluates all aspects of clinical operations, including coordination of staff, patient flow, and service delivery to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Ensures appropriate training of employees; provides guidance and direction to support staff.
• Evaluates and monitors job performance; provides feedback, coaching and development to employees.
• Recommends and institutes process improvements to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality work.
• Audits workflow; reviews, analyzes, and revises routine operational procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of changes in health care environment; supports care improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develops understanding of clinical reimbursement and managed care issues.
• Operates within budget guidelines.
• Establishes and assesses internal controls and compliance with University policies.
• Ensures staff are trained on controls and University procedures.
