Rothman Orthopaedics is seeking a Clinical Operations Specialist to blend clinical support as a Medical Assistant or Non-Surgical Clinical Assistant with front desk duties. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule pre-certifications, collect copays, and ensure smooth patient flow from arrival to discharge.

This role supports both clinical and administrative functions and requires reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a medical office environment.
• Active National Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic scheduling/billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner and check them in.
• Verify insurance, obtain referrals, and schedule pre-certifications/authorizations.
• Collect copays, document demographics, and ensure timely claims submission.
• Maintain patient flow, assist clinical staff, and support administrative tasks.
