Rothman Orthopaedics in Philadelphia, PA seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for our South Philadelphia office, with occasional coverage in Center City. The role supports physicians with clinical and administrative tasks and requires a positive, patient-focused approach.

Typical duties include preparing exam rooms, assisting with injections, documenting vitals, managing charting and pre-certifications, and coordinating schedules to ensure timely patient care. Shift: 7:30 AM to 4 PM.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Medical office procedures and medical terminology knowledge.
• One year of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in the waiting area and escort to the exam room.
• Prepare exam room and assist with injections and charting.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and inventory in the exam room.
• Assist with reviewing and processing medical documents and orders.
